Maria Juarez

Ms. Juarez is a family advocate and member of the Idaho Council on Developmental Disabilities. She has been working with the Council for the past seven years to address barriers for the Latino community that include language access, a lack of service providers, and providing accountability to the reporting and monitoring systems of abuse, neglect, and exploitation for people with disabilities. She is a powerful advocate with a vision for better access and quality services for all Idahoans. Her advocacy includes presentations at national conferences, advocating directly with state and congressional elected officials, and creating training that is meaningful to the Spanish-speaking community.
