Burley Leaders

The Idaho Council on Developmental Disabilities has invested in the leadership of adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and family members since 1996. Since that time, the Council has supported thousands of adults with developmental disabilities and family members to participate in a wide range of Council-led leadership programs. In 2023, the Council hosted the Together We Make Change conference for families and people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. At the 2023 conference, the Council identified six parent leaders from the Burley area to participate in a six-month intensive leadership development program throughout 2024. The Council is immensely proud of the leadership that all six parents have demonstrated in planning this conference in 2025.
